hi tex sorry for delay only just got your post problems with PC, we had a fantastic fortnight at the San Constantin holiday village they were so helpful, 2 pools the one in the older part was better there was a bit more shelter from the sun,maybe go earlier or late next time, if you have an apartment round the older pool with children the noise from the pool bar could be a problem late at night , no steep inclines to climb 500 meters from a lovely sandy beach, lots of nice reasonably priced restaurants/taverna in that area Mylos round the back was good,didn't need to go into Gouves much 20 min walk local buses with air con every 30 minutes from the main road to Iraklion or as far as Agios Nikolaus the other way, air con bus nice, walk round destinations to hot,we had good feed backs about Water City not far away from Gouves hope you have a nice time Tez
