Come to that, neither is Cyprus, technically - despite its being a member of the EU and in the Euro zone! I do recommend you come to Cyprus in October, though - it's still warm & dry, the sea has had all summer to warm up so it's great for swimming, the evenings are still just about warm enough to sit outside, and you'll have missed the summer heat and the bulk of the tourists. Good month to come to our beautiful island!
