what is the town that is the highest in latittude accesible by road

looks like prudhoe bay in alaska is the highest in latittude reachable by road on the north american continent. Norway has a town just slightly higher accesible by road. And russia has higher towns but on the map they dont look like they have roads to get to them. Any other suggestions ?

I suspect the Russian ones are accessible by road whether they're marked on the map or not (you could try Google Earth; I don't know how much resolution they offer for Siberia, though). After all, people have to get to them somehow, and if they're ports they'll probably be iced up half the year.

Wikipedia says that North Cape in Norway at 71° 10' N is the most northerly place in the world that's connected to a national main road network.
Prudhoe Bay is a mere 70° 00' N.
