Egypt

Looking to stay in Egypt on the Red Sea, the further north the better. We have been to Taba before but there was not much to do. Can any recommend anywhere else where there is more to do than diving or which is close to other things such and quad biking etc? TIA

Sharm is now a pretty cosmopolitan resort that has as many non-divers travelling there as divers.

It has all the usual resort attractions

Yeah Shalm el Sheikh has A LOT to do, my fiance and I went there in October 2006 with thomsons and there was a whole A4 page of excursions so you will be spoiled for choice!! We swam with dolphins, went quad biking, went on the day trip to Cairo - by plane and also went on a boat trip! You will love it there!!
I would definitly recommend it!

Thanks for the replies. Was looking for someone as far north as possible though. We've now opted for Nuweiba.
