Accommodation In Whitehaven Cumbria

I have searched, but for a week the prices are quite high to stay here. I just want a no frills guest house or similar. Anyone any ideas ?

Whitehaven is in the catchment area for Sellafield and most reasonably priced accommodation is booked up by construction workers. Try looking a bit farther north towards Workington or inland towards Cockermouth.

Yes I know Whitehaven well. I am just looking for guest houses really as they are not documented well.

Btw I have stayed at the abovementioned a few times and I can't fault it . And if you want to leave your car there it's a very good bus service just outside on the main road.
