Isles of Scilly beach

Whats your opinion on the 'best' beach in Tresco preferbly, as I will be on a short break to Hayle, I want a day trip to Tresco for a beach and the abbey gardens.

And by best beach I mean clearest, cleanest water, finest, whitest sand, most secluded but accessible and the least crowded?

If the beach is as wonderful as you want it to be, it's like to be busy..... and it's quite a distance from Hayle to the Scillies, will you fly or go by boat?

I'll answer this in the morrow.....do you need advice for Hayle? To go to Tresco sun bathing for just a day is redundant; one night staying over, I can understand. By the time you get there, you will need to be turning around to come back.

No doubt DT (when he returns) will tell you that there are dozens of fantastic beaches meeting all of your requirements in N Cornwall, so to fly from Land End to the Scillies at a cost of about £100pp just to sit on a beach for a couple of hours makes zero sense.

'Secluded' and 'accessible' are oxymorons.
