Burning DVD to play on other media

Thanks to AlBags and fender62 for earlier replies.
I decided to go with trial version of vso software. The watermark says 'buy an unlock key to convert without this message' which I'd be happy to do, but I can't see any unlock key on their site. Do I have to buy the full copy of the software?

OK Good.
Great software .. Been using myself for around 7 years!
VSO burning engine is the greatest.

I've copied a movie from flash drive to DVD using Nero but it will only run on the PC. How do I format it to play on a DVD player?
