So faint

When viewing my monitor on a day to day basis,I can read everything ok.But I have recently bought two items of software and the print is so faint you can barely read it.Is it possible to adjust this without altering the default??? Thanks!!!

Start by naming the software causing the trouble.

Print artist platinum 23 and one was a download ....Tesco photobook creator.There were a couple of others that I can't recall at the moment.Thanks!!!!
Forget about your 'normal' and 'new' software. If you simply get your monitor set up properly everything will look OK.

Start here:

If you can't clearly see the numbers 0 to 10 on both of the bottom two lines, adjust your monitor (following the instructions on that page) until you can. You should then find that everything you view on your monitor will look fine.
