cant get playstation to play through new tv.

I replaced my old portable in kitchen with a hitachi lcd with free view. I can't get the play station to play through it. No problem with playstation playing through the older portable. Can anyone help before my grandson comes over.Thanks.

theres only the ariel bit from station goes in back of tv

You need to tune one of the analogue TV channels in to the correct place to pick up the playstation, it should tell you in the manual how to do this.
