Vista volume control.

The volume control has suddenly disapeared from the system tray on my desktop computer. What can I do to get it back please? There's a gap where it should be.

Right-click on the start orb , then options , notification area & check the box for volume

Or...right click in the taskbar and select properties > notification area > tick volume box.
