Sky remote control help needed

Hope i've posted this in the right section. My daughter has decided to remove the batteries in the sky remote control and now i can't get much to work with it. Apparently, i have to type in my TV code....which i don't have a clue where to find it !!!! Any suggestions before i throw it at her !!!....many thanks in advance
