I have AVG 8 and AVG have sent me an update for AVG 8.5 . AOL will not allow me to download the update, what can i do to solve this problem . Aol helpline was no help

use internet explorer to download it not AOL's browser.

Is that easy is to do . how do i find internet explorer

click start > all programs and look for the blue E in the list.

when you say AVG have sent you an update how have they done this? by email?

A message comes on the screen ( large box ) saying that from the end of april i will not be protected and need do download AVG 8.5.. When i click to down load AOL stops it saying it will try as a bit message or something like that then it says it is to large. Phoned Aol helpline and spoke to Parvinder who was no help at all.

NO and that is not a joke. The one thing he said about 6 times was we need Aol to connect to Avg . When i asked how he said phone Avg

open the internet explorer. update the AOL and use it.

you can use the internet explorer for updating the aol.
