sounds like the accesibility options have been turned on.
Hold down your right hand Shift key for about 8 seconds, and you should get a popup about these options. Click the Settings button, and turn off everything

erm, maybe that's it, it wil let me use a key once but then not twice, even enter, space, delete etc.

I'm not sure what he did but there were about 7 search tabs up and he'd managed to switch AB to Google and open Outlook!

I told you it was only time until HC managed to outcat the experts (well, except our Chuck hehe)... just wait until he manages to rotate the display on your monitor.... in fact it might be worth asking how to sort that one out in advance of HC doing it.... just so that you can wag your finger at young Master HC and say.. oi!! stop doing that matey... hehe
