connect pc to tv

Hi all,
can anyone please tell me, how to connect
my LAPTOP to my PC and what leads would i
need. i have an LCD TV. any help appreciated.

to connect your laptop to your pc you need cat5 or cat6 network leads and a network switch.

Very nice of you to tell us you have a LCD TV, you must be proud of it to drop the comment into a question about connecting two computers together... or did you mean laptop to TV.

if so not enough info to answer really.

Does the TV have a 15pin normal monitor input... if so use that.

If not your laptop needs a Svideo output (it's a little round socket with 9holes, looks a little like a PS2 keyboard or mouse socket) and you use that to scart or composite input on the TV

and you need to connect the audio separately from the speaker socket on the laptop

Chuck i was not boasting, i did mean PC TO TV,
I was just i mentioned what tv i have because i
thought it would help to know what i wanted to connect to.

timeout1, I guessed what you meant, but couldn't resist,

the rest of my answer stands though. it really depends what connectors both the TV and the laptop have on them.
