BBC IPlayer

How long does it take to download an hour long programme on IPlayer? Also is there an equivalent ITV version of IPlayer? Thanks a lot.

the key here is "streaming" ... the far end feeds you with the data in real time so pretty much what you get is what you see (to misquote a computer term).

lol - not so shy lock
Surely it depends on your broadband speed which I think varies according to traffic. I have up to 2mb and from memory a one hour programme usually takes around 20 minutes on iPlayer. It is worth it though as the quality is so much better than streaming.
