Vodafone Network

I have just bought a Vodafone mobile and find that to use it at home, in Surrey, the network is very faint, and sometimes my friends can't hear me and I get cut off. What do you advise ?

Are you sure it isn't just your friends pretending not to hear and hanging up when they realise it's you calling?

Just checked, they told me to 'Manual Roam to update Network' which seems to give me a stronger network. Hope it works !
