I HAVE A LAPTOP THE BATTERY IS GONE AND NOW THE BATTERY YOU PLUG INTO THE MAINS IS ALSO GONE, ITS NOT THE BATTERY ITSELF ITS THE BIT IN THE BACK OF THE COMPUTER, WHEN I HAD IT MENDED AT THE SHOP THEY CHARGED ME £70 within a few months it has gone again,but they said it might not last, so i have a good laptop just cant get it on aaaahhhh,

Sorry but can't help laughing at THE BATTERY YOU PLUG INTO THE MAINS!!!

you pay for somebody to replace the DC power socket again and take more care of it this time! though I don't understand why they would say "it might not last" if they put a new socket in then it should be as good as new!

i think i kwon what you mean
if you sit on the sofa with your laptop and it is plugged into the mains to recharge the weight of the charger pulls at the back of your laptop , therefore making the connection point unstable .
try sitting at the table so the charger wont pull
or just buy a desktop much eaiser
