New digital aerial?

Hi. I have just bought a 42" Samsung plasma TV with built in freeview and am only getting analogue pictures on channels 1 to 5 even with a booster. The tv it replaced was a Sony 28" digital also with built in freeview which was plugged in to a very old roof aerial but it still supplied me with all freeview channels. Can anyone please tell me what I need to do get digital/freeview on new TV. Thanks.

My television (not a Samsung) has a button on the remote labelled 'tv'. Pressing this toggles between analogue and digital.

Maybe your tv has something similar.
