I'm one of those rare people , i suspect , that has still got Dial up internet - I'm sure what i'm paying for dial up , would get me broadband - just never got round to doing something about it untill now .

For tv , i've got Sky
Phone provider / internet = Virgin

What are the best options out there , for these services ?

You don't have a BT phone line, apparently.

You are limited in choice to Virgin broadband via cable or reinstating your BT line and being tied to BT for 12 months before changing to whomever you please.

I have Virgin Tv and Broadband and I'm very happy with the service. I don't have a phone line.
ask a 100 people ... you'll get 200 answers ... all diferent.

I'm with BT and I've had no problems whatsoever ...
I live near to the exchange ... so on paper at least get a full 8 Mb.
they aren't brilliant ... it's just they aren't as bad as the opposition.
If you're already with Virgin for your phone, chances are you could get a good deal from them for broadband. I'm very happy with my package x
I would cancel Sky and go with Virgin. I pay 15.50 per month for phone line and 2MB broadband, including phone line and weekend calls. You can pay an extra 7.95 to include 24/7 calls. Not sure about tv, it depends what you want, but I think it`s an extra 5 for basic.
Can`t remember what the download limit is, but it`s either 40GB or unlimited.
If you have a BT line, I find Tiscali give a good service at a good price
Echo panic`s advice for Tiscali 19.99 per month for phone line, up to 8 Mb broadband and free 24/7 calls to UK landline and International numbers inc. Australia Canada etc
just seen

This month computer shopper is comparing isp and speeds ... worth 3.99 of anyone's money
Hello Bazile
I use "Plusnet" for broadband and find it totally adequate for my needs. It only costs 9.99 per month and is not one of those silly special offers that go up in price after 3 months.
Give them a try
