Converting MP4 Files

Hello There
I have downloaded Tv programme in MP4 format which plays ok on computer . I want to download onto disc to play on my DVD player ( Multiregion ) . Dvd player does not play MP4 format . I have converted to Avi file using AVS video tools ( conversion successful ) which I was then going to convert again to Dvd format .
Problem is that when I converted from MP4 to Avi I had the Audio ok but there was no picture . I want to know what I have done wrong . Is it that there may have been files removed by Person who uploaded Tv programme in Mp4 format or am I using the wrong conversion software or can I convert from Mp4 direct to Dvd using other software . Thanks

Try this free utility to convert from mp4 to dvd files. I find it very easy and straight forward to use.
