Sorry if this is the wrong category.
I have a book in front of me that is all about photos on your PC and has lots of tips on things like Red Eye etc.

It says i can freely download the program called www.getpaint.net. Is this safe? Should i be wary?

I've never heard of it, so I put it into Google and the results I got back were all positive.
