i just want a cheap sat nav ..? anyone know whats not bad i know the more you pay the better it is ...

for my money ... tomtom lots of different models and prices ... but the same basic system (which I like) and which always gets top scores in reviews..

I know what you mean ablu having (and sticking to) a budget but the one "must have" is that it gets you there ! tom will

nip into halfords for a touch and tell session ....
you can always look for a better price on the net

I think Garmin is better than any others. Halfords recommended it too.

amazon are doing the Garmin nuvi 250 for only �95 and its fab!!

You pay extra just for the name Tom Tom!

sally .... peter pan's lost boys were lost because they used garmin ... if tomtom had a branch in never never land ... there wouldn't have been a story

only advice I can give is stay away from the AA navigator, well unless you like driving across fields!! several times when I had one it would say "turn left now" errrr no there's no road there!!!
