story downloads

does anyone know a good site i can download stories for my 3-year-old.
I know good cheap ones for chart stuff (mp3fiesta - and the wonderful allofmp3 when it comes back on line).
I've looked at the free podcasts that itunes do, but they don't seem appropriate. I'm basically looking for something that's good that's as cheap as chips.

I always thought the library was a good place for childrens stories!! they can even choose their own................

to the smart arse who suggested 'a book', why would you waste your time trying to be superior to people who you don't even know?
my 3-year-old loves all stories. we read loads, but when she goes to bed she likes to listen to stories on cds. but I'm a single parent and they can cost quite a lot of money, so I wondered if anyone knew a site where i could download them quite cheaply.
i don't really know why you would want to come on a site like this and try and upset people on purpose.
as for the library, our local library hardly has any story cds, and we've borrowed all they have.
thanks to the people who have come up with sugestions though. it's much appreciated.
