Windows Explorer

My Microsoft Windows Explorer has a problem. Evrytime i go to directly open a file from it, i will freeze and either after a while open the file or crash. I've looked at the error reports but i establish a root cause. I've tried debugging the software with a Microsoft apllication ******** but i couldn't find any faults in the code.

Has anyone got any idea of the problem?
I use Microsoft Windows XP Professional sp3, i think.
