I have been receiving some texts from someone, I don't actually know who it is but I have asked politley - and not so politley for them not to text me, with no luck! Also I have noticed that the number is a digit longer than an ordinary mobile number - has anyone ever come across this before? Also I have deleted the texts so that my fella don't see them as it nmay cause trouble, can I get them back if I contact my service provider?

why would it cause problems if your boyfriend see's them? you dont know who they are from, do you?

No, but if I saw a message on his phone I would not be happy, cant see anyone else being either really, as a couple of them have been quite suggestive. I am not happy with these messages and will be changing my number soon, but i would like to know who is sending them first and i am also confused about the number being a digit longer than usual
but if youre innocent! but then again you obviously havent got much trust in each other
Have you inadvertently signed up for one of those "flirty text" services? Might explain the odd number.

As for the BF, I'd show them to my other half if I was getting them.
her relationship with her boyfriend is not the question here. she did not ask for judgements on the quality of her relationship - it is no-ones business.

i don't think you can retrieve the messages, so i would advise not deleting them until you are sure it is not something more sinister, and just a daft joke.

also they may be intended for someone else so if they don't actually say your name, they could be for the person who had the number nefore you.

also text them saying your name -a fake one - and they may stop if they think they are going to a stranger.

also just ignore them - the more you respond, the more they will.

it happened to me once when i texted an old mate who had since chyanged his number - the new owner was a disgusting weirdo who seemed to delight in pretending to be my mate and trying to upset his friends... god knows how much trouble he caused with people who did not sus out that it was not my mate responding!

someone once told me that they took their phone to the police and a pc phoned the number from the station and warned the person off, saying to call him back or check out the number if they didn't believe he was copper - it worked. could be worth a try
sorry joko but i dont agree, it may well be to do with the relationship, it might just be her boyfriend getting a mate to do it to see if she does tell him or if she keeps things secret. ever thought of that
Question Author
Thank you Joko for your reply. Gina - no it is nothing to do with you or anyone else for that matter what sort of relationship me and my bf have, as joko said - i was not asking for comments on that,
maybe you weren but as i said in my last post maybe it is your boyfriend thats has got a mate sending them to you to find out your reaction and to se if you would tell him
Question Author
Well this is not the case - and yes I am quite sure of this thank you.
