Sony

Hi just upgrade my phone to the Sony Ericsson W880i.
Also bought myself a laptop (downsizing) running on Vista and it tells me that the software for my phone is not adequate so this is absolutely useless as i can't use my new phone on my new laptop. Any ideas.
