Whenever I try to connect to my itunes store, I get a time out message. It says there might be a problem with my internet connections. I contacted Apple and they said nothing is wrong at their end.
No matter what I do (even re-installing itunes) I can't connect to the store.
Obviously though - I can get onto the internet as usual.

Are you behind any firewall or similar? If so, try disabling it and trying again.
