anonymous nuisance calls

I'm getting calls to my mobile every three hours from about nine pm each night and it's driving me insane! They calls only last for one ring, so all they succeed in doing is waking me up . They stop each morning at nine am (so calls at 9pm, midnight, 3am, 6am and 9am). Because of the regularity I'm guessing the calls are automated. Anyone got ANY idea who/what these calls are?

Just switch your 'phone off for good night's sleep. They'll soon get fed up with getting no response.

have no idea but if you want them barred from contacting you, you need to contact the police who will then go through the misuse of telecommunications act to get the number barred from calling you - it takes time and a bit of effort but worth it if you dont want the hassle of changing your phone number.

Its almost defo automated, but not sure where from. If you dont wanna switch your phne off, put it on silent for the night.

A FREE government site where you can register mobile and home numbers to stop getting marketing calls. If you get called whist registered to this the company calling you can be liable to �5k in fines. So it stops them dead!!
