Mouse trails on sites

Thinkin of settin up a web site, out of interest, how many of u's lot like it went ther is a mouse trail coming from the mouse pointer, like sometimes it can be words, or is unbelieveably annoying 2 u!?!?!!?! thanx xx

for me, the worst is 'Music on webpage' - almost worse than popups. I would say the less gizmos and glitzes the better. When someone lands on your page you got a hit - don't scare them away :-)

Please dont - its amusing for about 5 seconds and guaranteed to drive me away.Tacky keyboard music is horrible too.Ditto ill thought out background/text colours .AND while Im at it frames set too big for my average monitor display. There - got it off my chest at last.Well...you did ask.

Hate it! BTW I discovered that the firewall we have at work won't let anything through which needs Flash or Fireworks. I don't know how widespread this practice is but if you want hits from people at their work places it might be worth investigating.
