Kind of Virus, and i found were it is located but canty remove it!

Hi,

I got a kind of virus (if you know whata mean) it is embedded in the C:\windows\system32. Its called Mssearchnet.exe. what it does is it changed my home page to this spyware removal page. I have tried countless times to change it back to Google.com but it will not let me. I tried to end the process in Windoes Task Manager/Process but it keeps poping back up. It has also embedded itself on the bottom right hand side of my pc and keeps poping up "spyware detected". I tried to delete it in the above C:\ but will not delete. can anyone please help!?

Sounds quite a pain to be honest, have a look at these threada and they should point you in the right direction to remove the trojan.

Your a Star Alunrw, I went into the first website nd followed the instructions through safe mode. was quite complicated but its gone, happy days!
