Our band wants to be able to record music straight to software in our computers (both pc and mac) via USB. Which hardware (audio interface) would best facilitate this?
Our requirements would be 4 tracks inc. mic and keyboard (midi). The software we use is protools and garageband.

Cheers, Emenrio

If you want to record into ProTools, then you'll need DigiDesign or M-Audio hardware, as there are the only ones that will work with it. (Which make depends on which verion of Tools).

If you're not tied to particular software, then the Lexicon Omega is probably your best bet for a 4-in USB interface.
