norton anti virus

can anyone please help.!!

everytime i turn my computer on my norton anti virus has "disabled" itself and i have to refresh it.why has this recently started happening.? its annoying me now. thanks, ian.

Have you been changing things in your statrup menu lately ? Go to start, run, type msconfig, go to the startup tab. Drag the location tab to the right a little so you can read the center tab called command. Look for anything that says norton or symantec and be sure they all have a check by them. click ok, after restart check the box for do not show this again.

Uninstall norton, install AVG Free:

Have you cured your problem?..........if you start the Norton software and click Options.......then Auto protect, there is a box to enable Autoprotect and one to Start Auto Protect when Windows Starts...check them botth ....commoner.
