you can look at 1and1 or 123 for starters, why not go and buy one of the web mags they always have ratings and listings for Hosting companies

I'd concur with bazwillrun, and recommend 1&1. I've been using them for several years and the service has been excellent. I believe that they are still offering free web-authoring software if you sign up to one of their hosting packages.

However, hosting agents don't build websites for you - you have to do that yourself or pay someone else to do it for you. If you plan on "updating your website with no hassle" I assume you have the knowledge and skills to create and maintain a website yourself? If not, then achieving the "professional look" with no previous knowledge may be more of a challenge. I use Dreamweaver, but if you're new to websdesign you might prefer something a little more intuitive and less complex . . . of which there are many cheaper packages around. Serif does one that's quite highly regarded, I believe.

Best of luck!
