Bizarre Mobile Phone Display

Since last week my Samsung S7 has been doing something odd. Before last week when my phone rang if it was one of my contacts then obviously their name would come up and if it was someone I didn't know then just their number would come up. But now it's doing odd things. It rang twice this morning and whilst ringing where the name or number would be on screen it said BLOCK. Then last week I had two calls where the persons name came up but I had no idea who they were. One was a woman I'd emailed re a job and one was a woman who worked for a conveyancing firm I'd got an online quote from. Neither of these people are in my contacts, nor have I ever phoned them yet it's not even the company name coming up, but their own personal name. How is that even possible??

I think companies can arrange for their own id to be sent from their exchange.

I don't know OG. I'm just really baffled. How come it's not the company name that came up but the actual employees name??

Someone must have sent it across the network as their id. Maybe she was a one person company ?

No they both work for large national companies. H I'm so confused lol
