Our mobile phone signal in the house is practically non-existent. If I want to send a text message I end up having to hang out the livingroom window or go into the garden.

Is it possible to buy a booster of some sort?

If you change your supplier to O2 you can get a free app called Tu Go which will connect your mobile signal with your broadband.
I know you can for O2 because we have them at work, in fact there is one in my office and it's just called a booster box
I'd have thought trasmitting on a mobile phone frequency without a license might not be legal.

Thanks everyone for your replies.

whiskeyron, I've tried Tu Go before but found my broadband speed in the house just wasn't up to it. Bummer really as it's quite a good idea.

I'll look into that Prudie, thanks!

OG, I hadn't thought about any legalities. I did have a wee look on eBay and see you can buy boosters, but that's not to say that it's legal. ;-)
