I need to get a new mobile phone soon. I was standing at the supermarket checkout today, and realised that there are SO many different ways to pay for calls and texts etc. I really haven't got a clue which one would be best for me. Can anyone advise me please?

As an indicator, the main things I'd use it for would be approximately

50 UK calls a month
50 texts a month
Less than 1 mgb of Internet.

Nothing abroad.

TIA.

Best bet is to go into the shop and ask them to set a tariff up, usually they can tailor it to your needs and sort a decent price, with the small amount you want it shouldn't cost much at all

50 calls as in 50 minutes?

Not much more. The odd half hour, but mostly I use it when I'm out to call Mum, or to tell someone I'm on the way. Usually it's to say that I'll call them when I get home!

Maybe 10 hrs a month absolute tops.

Actually probably more like 5 hrs............
