is frozen in the middle of the screen. works with the plug-in mouse but not with the mouse pad on the laptop.

Does the trackpad work when you unplug the mouse? If so then its set to disable the trackpad when mouse connected.

If it doesn'r then check the settings.

If it is the touch pad that isn't working go into settings and activate it.

Another way maybe be to unplug the mouse and see if it works.

not sure how it became disabled but the F6 key reset it.
