Printer Not Visible On Network

There was a big Windows 10 update a couple of days ago.
I can see and access files from my laptop on my desktop and vice versa.
If I want to print a document from my laptop on the printer that is connected by cable to my desktop it appeared in the list of available printers with the network location.
Selecting the printer and selecting print worked straight away.
Now the printer has disappeared from the list of available printers along with a wireless printer which was previously installed.
Any suggestions please?
Do I need to install new drivers on the laptop for them or are they burried in some dark corner of the OS?
