With most of the free sites you lose privacy. In some instances you waver your ownership and they are free to rifle through your images and use them however they wish.

I've used Dropbox for a long time and am quite happy with it. Ref Gromit above - I was a bit surprised once when looking at google images of one of my holiday destinations I found one of my photos.
