I would never buy an inkjet printer unless someone on ebay was selling compatibles at 50p a go.
Bazile....I saw this as well and I think it bloody cheeky of HP !

But cartridges will still continue to work, but they may not tell you when they need changing....unless I have got that wrong ?

I take that to read that if you have a genuine HP cartridge - if you refill it or if it's a remanufactured hp cartridge - then it will continue to work
