you save as a bookmark not an icon
We used to be able to put icons on to the screen. I can't remember how though.
Open the Morrison home page. right click anywhere on the screen. Click 'save as' and choose desktop as the destination
Would it be right click on the page (when your on it) click create shortcut and then drag it onto your desktop?
I think

Thanks ivor4781 but on my old win XP computer I had a desktop icon which when i clicked on it took me to my account and I could start shopping, thats what I want a desktop icon NOT a bookmark
You can always right click on the desktop and select new / shortcut.

Where you have to put the path simply paste in the URL for the Morrisons webpage you want.
Go the the website.

Reduce the size of your browser window (by clicking on the overlapping squares in the top right corner).

Click on the icon to the immediate left of where it says 'www' in your address bar and drag it onto your desktop.

Job done.
Funny thing, buenchico, that depends what browser you are using. Doesn't work in Opera, for example, nor Edge in W10
and i cant save an icon aka "morrisons" on my screen with win10 and chrome
