Thursday. Overcast yet again, This is shaping up to be the summer that never was. Yesterday was light drizzle on and off for most of the day, so I didn't get the windows done.

To the hospice this morning. Always a pleasent experience.

Tiggy was about, but it was late as I didn't see him. His supper has gone though.

Have a happy day everyone.

Good Morning Boaty. I've just nipped up to get water, looks like could be a pleasant day here, pink hues in the sky and the birds chirupping away as we speak.

Have a lovely day Queenie

Morning queenie. xxx Nice to see you. :o}

Just cloud, cloud and more cloud here. Such is life.

I love the dawn chorus. Such a sweet sound, A lovely way to begin a new day.
This is my first time on your GMEB thread - just noticed.

There was a wee bit cloud but mainly pinky peachy skies. Hope the cloud passes.

I do too, love it when the black bird starts singing, sadly they gave gone quiet now - which is odd - oh no there's a crow.
Morning peoples.

Just waiting for the cordless drill to re-charge so I (hopefully) can finish my DIMW project.

It's lovely to see you on here Queenie, you're very welcome.

'crowsong' doesn't really fit into the dawn chorus, does it. Still, I like watching their antics. Quite amusing sometimes.
Ooh cordless drills fascinate me - no idea why. Can I come watch?
Good morning! Beautiful day if what I can see from my temporary bed is anything to go by.
Banished to the living room by The Boss because of my only slightly annoying persistent cough shaking the bedroom walls. Fingers crossed it's gone for now, maybe sneak an hour in my pit later.

Afternoon oz. What are you constructing?
Morning Boaty, Queenie and Oz - for once blue skies and quite warm for this time of the day.
Apparently there's some sort of referendum on today - anyone heard anything about it?
Thank you for having me ;)

It doesn't at all. There's a wee bird sparrow I suspect chirping away. I have a large Bay Tree outside my window and some other tree (which I believe is a male - don't ask I gave mum a questioning look when she told me this tree comes as either m or f) where they all seem to reside I'm still waiting on my blackbird though.
Morning Douglas - sneaked in when I wasn't looking!
I forgot about that Welshyorkie.

Morning all :)

Morning Doug and Welshie. Nice to see you mate.

Yup. Summat to do with being a slave or not.
You most certainly can Queenie.
I have 3 cordless drills so I should be able to keep you fascinated for hours.

Putting up some second hand blinds we were given. Very nice posh looking ones. Trouble is they are supposed to have fancy little brackety clippy things to mount them which we weren't given. So, I have invented my own method of fixing them to the window frame, hence the Do It My Way project ;-)
Hey Doug, hey Welshy, all good up there?
Question Author
Sounds like fun oz. ;o}

doug I hope your cough decides to go elsewhere soon mate. No fun at all!
Great so far, we'll see later, if I manage to get started on building our new greenhouse.
It's just big Meccano, innit. :-)

Good way of putting it doug. But you're right! :o}
G'day Oz - all good up here mate, apart from a few aches and pains - the joy of being on the wrong side of middle age. Hopefully they'll disappear when I get to the warmth of the Aegean Sea next month (26 days to go, not that i'm counting) - 33 yesterday in Greece, 21 in North Wales
I helped the next door neighbour put his greenhouse up - the glazing was a pane........................... i'll get me coat.........
