Kindle Cloud Or Pc

I am sending a kindle book tonight as a gift for a friend who is going on holiday for 2 weeks.

I know she has a kindle book, but when I went to buy it from Amazon, they are asking do I want Cloud or PC.

Whats Cloud?

Your friend will need to own a registered kindle trt...the download will only work on kindle ..device or cloud...look on link from hc

Looks like a kindle reading app needs to be on friend's comp/tablet or whatever if not a kindle device !
