Hi there I was on the phone to a friend tonight a portable phone and I slipped and accidentally dropped my phone in the bath. Someone on Facebook recommend putting the phone in a sealed bag with rice I've done that does it work ?

Worked on lordalex' (quite old) mobile after he put it through a cold wash and long spin cycle.

my local Poundland sells damp absorber stuff. I did use a hair dryer once which worked, but dont get too enthusiastic.
