Mr. Chox has just been given a new work mobile phone - a smartphone this time, it's the Nokia RM964. He's got a couple of problems, and I said I'd ask the ABers to see if they can help. So here goes ....

He uses one of those bluetooth earpieces when he's driving, so he can use the phone hands-free. However, we can't seem to connect it up. We've been in to settings, where there's a bit you can tap to "connect bluetooth device", but it won't do it, and he went in to a phone shop in our city centre yesterday to ask them, they told him to charge the ear piece up (which he did) and then try again, but pushing something at both ends of the little ear-piece - again no job .... any suggestions folks?

And also - we can't seem to find a screen protector which will fit this phone. Any suggestions there as well?

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Chox.

You have to put the earpiece in pairing mode for the phone to find it, how you do that depends on the make and model of the earpiece.
Does the ear-piece work with another phone, because there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with what you are doing?
Does the earpiece work with other handsets ? It or the handset may be broken. How does it not work ? Did the earpiece manual tell you of a PIN you needed to enter when the handset asked for it ? Go into the bluetooth settings to scan and connect and as suggested pair with the found earpiece.
