Hi - I have managed to get a screen with 3 pages on view at once - how do I get it back to just one page?

The scary thing is that Word can do so much more than we use it for. But you need to be a computery person to make sense of some of it.

My brother sent me photo editing software he didn't need. The instructions were contained in a 500 page book.

When I left school in 1980 all this was still far in the future!!

i didn't start card programming in Fortran until 1975......the first pc being an Apple 2 in 1983 in Belgium and that had 64kb of capacity and was 'amazing'! Caused some justification issues over cash flow methods that they were using but then folk came around to the way I put together tax and depreciation issues.....all in Visicalc, though Excel hasn't changed that much from those days.
When I learnt card programming using Fortran IV we didn't even have a computer!

We had to punch our cards at (teacher training) college and then post them to the polytechnic, so that they could run our programs, and wait a week or so for the results of our efforts to come back!
I am younger, but not by far, than you two but I do almost remember punch cards.

DHSS national Insurance records were needed for some types of benefit claims. We had a weird machine to use to contact HQ each night. Things did progress from there but at a snail's pace.

The computer that I use at Oxfam is a Dell, an old one with an ancient version of word.

I am on the hunt for used stamps, we sell them online at the Oxfam website.
