Soap awards time again .is there a doctor in the house ,save us from this please Id give them a ward alright in the city general .when is this great country of ours gonna stand up and say no more no more .is there any one out there agree or is it just a plaintive cry in the wilderness

I hate all that luvviedom congregating, all mates together but hoping to god they win the award so that they can show the rest of them. Having said that Sheridan Smith should earn some sort of recognition.

I don't watch any soaps, however I have watched corrie a few back Jack, and Vera were still in that at the time, but back to OP if they want to slap each others back I don't mind that either surely a lot of work and effort goes into making them.

Not just the sickening awards but soaps in general .of course I don't have to watch it I just was trying to help the good people who care about this sort of thing .Who would suggest that the world would not be a better place with out them .Go on then ....

"Here we go again"....could relate to OP's habit of berating television programmes that he/she (supposedly) never watches.
Please give it, and us, a rest. Have you ever thought of watching stuff that you actually enjoy....and avoiding your pet hates?

The world may well be a better place without Soaps etc - for those who do not like them, the opposite would be true for those who love to watch.

One could say that about any genre of entertainment - which is why it is so varied - to try in utter impossibility to please all of the people some of the time.


What do you like to watch? Maybe we should get rid of that?

I've spent most of this weekend watching all 6 Star Wars ready for tomorrow. Don't think ive seen any actual 'proper' telly since Friday- been bliss!

I love Corrie and so does my whole family, from the great grannies to the young teens.
It's nice to think we are all watching the same thing at the same time and it helps bridge the generation gap.
