Can someone please explain to me how to pay the fees for the above in advance,preferably online?.Is it possible to pay for the outward and homeward journeys at the same time if they are on different days?I've tried to find it on the web with no luck.Thanks.

Thanks Dave,I have a "payzone" just round the corner to me and didn't know it,although I've never seen any ads outside to say they give the fee service.Do you happen to know whether I can get a "return ticket" at that shop? Thanks again.

I did both on line and for a bit of a techno phobe I found it quite simple

Hi codswallop, when I got my dart charge from a pay zone outlet, on the receipt it says it is valid for 1 year from the date purchased. So you could pay for two crossings at the same time but use them on different dates. Hope this helps.

Yes, as it is number plate recognition you don't have to stop to show your ticket.
