High Power Usb Port

I am having trouble connecting my iPod shuffle to iTunes,suggests the above.
Even though used to be able to....it is a while since I have done so.

Looked on Apple as suggested but cannot find it.

What or where would I put it in my laptop????

Also where can I buy one...help please from all you clever people.please.

If you have a fairly recent Windows PC it will have a high powered USB port, almost certainly USB 2.0, maybe even USB 3.0.

So you wont need to buy one.

Yet,when I was on iTunes with my iPod,a notice came up telling me that I need to plug into a high power Usb port.
