With my laptop I could identify, using 'properties', the date that a picture was taken. Is a similar thing possible with the iPad, please? My wife takes pictures with her iPad, and some time later wonders just WHEN individual pictures were taken.

In the photos app, the pictures are usually displayed in date order.

Problem with that is that she often gets photos sent to her by e.g. email, which she then wants to save. I know that any date applied to these would be the date received by her iPad, and we would have to ignore that. I just wondered if it was possible to access the date taken/received/processed whatever (which is what the laptop shows). It sounds as though this might not be possible.
It depends whether the information is contained in the received photo but this should do the trick if it is https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/exif-wizard/id387652357?mt=8 , I've not used it and have no connection to the developer, if that doesn't fit the bill you need to search on ipad exif viewer
